SENTINEL is a global disaster intelligence platform that aggregates real-time data from the world's leading scientific agencies and delivers it to anyone, anywhere, on any device — at no cost. We believe that early warning saves lives, and that no one should have to pay for it.
Today, disaster intelligence is scattered across many scientific feeds, emergency systems, and public information channels. SENTINEL organizes important signals into a clearer view designed to help people understand changing conditions faster.
We are not a government agency. We are not funded by advertising. We are a small team driven by a simple belief: every minute of early warning is a minute a family has to reach safety.
SENTINEL was founded by Francesca Perez, CEO of A Bit Lavish, from a belief that technology should make people safer, not make vital information harder to reach. Her work brings together communication, design, global observation and humanitarian purpose: making complex signals understandable enough to help communities act sooner.
SENTINEL is built as an independent public-interest project: observe carefully, preserve the record, compare patterns, verify with trusted sources, and communicate risk responsibly. The mission is simple — use every responsible tool available to protect human life and make disaster intelligence accessible worldwide.
SENTINEL serves — and seeks to partner with — the world's leading humanitarian and scientific organizations.
Are you a scientific agency, humanitarian organization, or government body interested in contributing data or partnering with SENTINEL? We welcome all collaborations that expand our reach and improve our data coverage.
